Carrot Cake

1 cup sugar
1 cup brown sugar
2 cups flour
1 1/2 tsp baking soda
2 tsp cinnamon
1 tsp salt
1 tsp baking powder
4 beaten eggs
3 cups grated carrots
1 cup vegetable oil
1 cup nuts (optional)
1 cup raisins (optional)

Mix all ingredients well. Pour into two well greased loaf pans and bake at 375 for 35-45 minutes.

Frosting:

1 3oz pkg of cream cheese
1 1/2 cup powdered sugar
1/2 tsp vanilla

Mix and spread on warm cake and sprinkle with nuts.
